Run classic After Dark screen savers on your modern Macintosh.
Afterglow is a modern macOS app that runs After Dark screen saver modules from the classic Macintosh era. Over 300 modules are supported, spanning the original 1989 release through After Dark 4.0 release in 1996, including expansion packs from Berkeley Systems and other publishers.
Modules aren't included, but importing is easy: drag and drop modules, disk images, or compressed archives into the app and Afterglow extracts and imports them. You can also browse and install software releases from the Internet Archive without leaving the app.
You can even configure classic modules to run as your modern macOS screen saver!

Installation Sources
Afterglow does not provide After Dark modules, but makes it easy to import them from a wide variety of sources: bare module files, StuffIt archives of module files, disk images of the original installation media, self-extracting installers, and HFS disk images. Whatever you have, if there are modules in there, there’s a good chance you can simply drop it into Afterglow.
